The products that you purchase from Furnizone (through our online store or by phone) will come with a 1 year manufacturer guarantee, unless otherwise stated. In the unlikely event that your product needs guarantee service, Furnizone will replace any faulty items free of charge to the customer, subject to the following terms:

  • Broken chair legs
  • External fixing faults
  • Faulty joints
  • Loss of interior
  • Loss of structural integrity
  • Loss of pre-inserted fixings (such as loosening of metal threads)     

In order to avail our guarantee, the buyer is requested to provide images along with the sales receipt.

The following conditions are not covered under our guarantee:

  • Everyday wear and tear such as abrasions, burns, stains, accidental damage, and similar problems
  • Exposure to undesired heat, liquids, cleaning products, and moisture
  • Degradation of textiles
  • Colour degradation such as yellowing of textile material or contamination with cosmetic products
  • Items that were subjected to anything beyond the designated maximum weight capacity, please make sure to check your items for applicable load limits 
  • Damage that results from misuse, accidents, and negligence
  • Any defect resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance, such as cleaning or care, or commercial usage
  • The softening of filling materials (such as cushions) under normal use
  • Applying a fabric protectant to any upholstered furniture may void the manufacturer’s warranty, please ask us before applying a stain guard
  • Cracking of wood or veneer because it was exposed to undesirable conditions such as burns, humidity, or exposure to a heat source e.g. a radiator     

How Do I Use the Warranty or Guarantee

The process of getting your money back depends on when you found the fault.  The first 12 months after taking ownership of the product will be covered under our guarantee. Within this time frame you claim a guarantee by filling our guarantee form. Simply return the guarantee form to us and we will review the application to see if it meets our criteria.

How long does it take to send a replacement part covered under the Furnizone guarantee?

This is subject to item availability, in which case it can be arranged in just a few business days. If, however, the item is no longer available in stock, then the full price of the item will be refunded. In addition, any deliveries outside of mainland UK will take longer.

When does my 1 year guarantee period start?

The warranty period is only valid for 1 year and will start once you acknowledge receipt of the products. You will have to show proof of purchase and purchase date to qualify for the warranty.

What will happen if a fault arises after the 1 year guarantee period expires?

If you discover a fault or an issue arises after the 1 year guarantee period, we will be unable to process replacements and/or refunds. However, we would still like to help in any other capacity possible. We encourage you to contact us to see if we arrive at any resolution
